News

Picture
This section of the website includes a portion of the news stories produced by myself throughout my time at Loras College.  The majority of the news that I produce is sports related and mostly track and cross country.

Being a full time athlete throughout my time at Loras in track and cross country definitely added to the experience of also being a full time media studies student.  As a part of the track team I was able to get greatly in-depth footage and more personal interviews with the athletes.

This aspect of my work shows the structured news related aspect of my schooling; this of which has been mostly of what I have been indulged in since my sophomore year in high school.

Documentary

Picture
This section of the website shows the documentary piece that I produced during my Electronic Field Production (EFP) class at Waubonsee Community College.

Now that I transferred to Loras College my work has changed in confidence level and story telling in a better way.   Taking this EFP class at a school other than Loras makes me wish I could take it again to gain the expert story telling that I have now learned being a student here.

Documentary pieces is also another aspect of different disciplines that I
learned at Loras and Waubonsee.

Experimental

This section of the website is Experimental videos that I have produced throughout my years at Loras College.  This aspect of my resume adds to a wide variety of specialties that Loras added to my range of courses.

My second and third years at Loras the Media Studies program began to combine with sections of the Integrated Visual Arts (IVA) program
.

As discussed on my home page, this is a further look into the work that separates my news related material and my artistic and creative dimension.

Vimeo

The section of the website includes a link to Vimeo. Vimeo is a great interactive website for media related artists to showcase their work in a more professional atmosphere than websites such as You Tube.

Videos that I have posted here are those that may be to big of a file to publish on this web page.
