The "Off Week" is a show designed by Loras College and LCTV-17. During Spring 10' as a part of my practicum class I produced this segment for the semester. The show consisted of 2 to 3 news packages for an online web-cast shown on www.myduhawk.com.  In the segment above the news package that was directly mine is the track package. This segment includes a story about the Loras Track & Field and Soccer teams with highlights from the Softball game.

This segment of the "Off Week" goes in depth about the Loras Track and Field team on Spring break in Memphis, Tennessee. The softball field also has a story, followed up by what's to for the next week.

Loras College at UW-Platteville 4.10.10

A requirement at Loras for the Media Studies is to take a year of the Practicum Internship. This class includes creating news packages as well as taking a more prominent role the second Practicum.  Both semesters that I was in Practicum I made track packages. This particular track package is at the University of Wisconsin in Platteville. This package was made during my second practicum.

Loras College's Ball Hall History

A change from the week to week track packages came in Fall 09' when asked to make a more historical piece on the old Loras Gymnasium: Ball Hall. This is another example of the variety of concepts that Loras adds to one's resume.

This news package was created for the my second practicum class. The story is about the Loras Track and Field team competing at the local University of Dubuque.
